So I thought I would post some pictures of Kody. These two pictures (above and below) are just some random pictures one night. Kody is wearing a little hat my mom bought him one day. It goes with this matching outfit, but he threw up all over it so now he is just sporting his hat. Throw-up happens. Good things we have cute hats to wear after. :-)

Kody was lucky enough to get his little picture taken right before he got blessed at church. Doesn't he look so dashing in his little white duds.
And it wouldn't be a blog post if I did not include one of Kody's faces. For some reason this kid sure can pull them left and right...the trick is getting a camera to snap a shot of them at those right moments. :-)
Now for a quick update on Brian and I. Brian is waiting to go back to school (Sept 12) and in the mean time he just working at Coates landscaping in Rexburg. He really likes his job there fixing things. I've officially started my student teaching. O man is this an adventure....I taught math just today, this being my first lesson....o man I was nervous and the lesson seemed long as could be. I did survive (which I thankful for) and the kids did learn something so I didn't mess up to much I think. After labor day I will be assigned to teach science everyday...here we go!!!!
Kody is growing a lot and already out of all his jammies we had for him. I've had to dig in the wonderful hand-me-down bags (thank you cori) and grab some bigger boy jammies. Wow they really DO grown so fast. ha ha He is eating, sleeping, pooping all like a normal baby and has rolled over just once......I missed it, I was at school..... :-( He is loving the babysitters and seems to be doing great with them. All in all we are all doing great here in little sugar city.

The Kody

Because I thought it was so cute here is a picture of Kody crashing on the couch...he was one tired little guy, its so much work to be so cute. Notice his slipper toes, those in and of themselves are reason to be so tired.....the cuteness just wears him out. ha ha

HE IS HERE.................

Here he is Kody Brian Moon! WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! He weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces, was 19 inches long, and sported a tint of red in his hair. He is a very easy going and mellow baby, Brian and I feel very blessed. Glad Brian was able to be here for the birth of Kody! The Lord watches over his children and their needs, that is for sure!!!!!!!!!!

Update

I am not a good blogger. I am not sure if I will keep this up cause I just do not seem to blog on it enough. haha

Well as for a quick update. Brian is done with this year of school (finally) and he is now excited to just be working full time at coates landscaping. He passed all his classes this semester so I figured this was worthy of mentioning on his blog. :-) hee hee

I passed my praxis exam which means I can officially get all ready to student teach this fall. I have secured a spot in the central elementary school just about two blocks from where we live. I am very nervous to student teach, but very excited to be almost done with this schooling. Kody will be here very soon, as I'm already 32 weeks and counting as I'm writing this post. super nervous for that day of delivery AHHHH and even more nervous to be responsible for a child. Its one think to watch your brothers and sisters when they are younger while growing up, but its a completely different thing to actually be the parent of one of those little people. O dear, I may faint. As for getting everything ready for kody I think we have it all: crib check, some clothes check, stroller and car seat double check, diaper bag (will be coming) check, bouncy chair (will be coming) check, some diapers check. Now for the formula but that will come after he is born. :-)

Feb 1st the day of greatness!

I bet the 5 of you who read my blog are thinking, what on earth is this crazy women saying...Feb. 1st the day of greatest! You are all probably thinking that I should go back to bed. hee hee BUT PEOPLE PLEASE....let me explain :-) You see on Feb 1st Brian and I found out what gender of a child we were having, either a boy or a girl. We found out that we are going to be having a boy! O dear, I'm going to over run by the boys pretty soon. So that day was a day of greatness for us both, then the next day roles around and smushes all greatness from the previous day. HAHA just kidding.

That is really the only update we have. I guess if you want to continue to read I could find things...like we had pancakes this morning which were yummy yummy to my tummy. I feel fat and mostly uncomfortable, but every pregnant lady does so that not new. Um......brian did the dishes TWO DAYS IN ROW...now that is news!!!!!! totally forgot about that one. Brian deleted his facebook and on March 12th I take that dreaded test called the Praxis II. ow-vey Luckily I have given my self enough time to retake the test if I fail, yes people I fail tests quite often.....my life story. But my mom and dad tell me, doesn't matter how many times you fail a test as long as you retake it if you can, and keep trying NO MATTER WHAT! yep madra and padra bennett know best.

Well brian will be home in about 15 minutes better cook some chicken.

few updates

All you bloggers out there how on earth do you do it. I mean how on earth do you find time to update your blog almost every week. I struggle with finding things to even put up on the blog that is worth everyone's reading. hahha

Anyways, there have been some updates in the past two months. Brian and I have official moved apartments. We now live in Sugar City Idaho instead of Rexburg (which is nice, we both love it). We will find out whether we are having a boy or girl on February 1st at the next dr. appointment. Everyone cross your fingers hee hee! Brian has started his new semester and he keeps talking about how much he thinks he will love it. I sure hope so cause the winter semester seems to be really long, and if you don't like your classes that much it can really drag out longer it seems. I successfuly completely my online class in November for my PSR job and got a whopping 20 CEU's out of it. Wahoo!!!!!!! I've started my 7th online class for my degree and have 2 lefts after this one. Wow time is flying fast. Brian well.......we would like to say he has a year and a half left, but I often wonder about that. I still need to look at his graduation report to make sure all his general ed requirements are completed. Got to keep that boy on schedule I tell you or he will mosy his way through school slowly. :-)

Other than that things of here in Sugar City are good, boring, and cold.

quick update

This has indeed been an interesting month. Kinda glad its over. Quick update, Brian is still plugging away at school, he is half done with this semester and getting excited. Brian got a job working for a place called Coates landscaping in the mechanics department. He is really loving his job, and learning so much all ready. I've finally completed my math class online (phew...that one was stinken hard) and soon to start my next class on school law and societal contexts. (eck) :-)

I've already started coaching the sugar-salem 7th girls basketball team again, which has been tons of fun. We have already played two games (away games) pulling off wins in both games. WAHOOO
I will also be taking a second online class this November compliments of my PSR job. (pray for me hahaha) And Brian will continue to count down his semester till Christmas break.

Other than that, and a couple of life changes (not mentioned), Brian and I are happy to report our quick update.
